The man arrested for making his second wife’s son disappear
Bilaspur. The case of an 8-year-old child who mysteriously disappeared from Belgahna police station area of the district since December 22 is still unsolved. The police had initially suspected the child’s kidnapping and murder and have arrested his stepfather in this case. It is alleged that the stepfather strangled the 8-year-old child to death. It is being told that the accused’s second wife was not ready to go with him, due to which he committed this incident. The accused has confessed to killing the child and throwing the body in the forest. However, the child’s body has not been recovered till now. In such a situation, this case has become a mystery for the police.
In fact, 8-year-old son Madhav of Revati God, a resident of village Amagohan, is missing from his home. Police investigation revealed that, about 10 years ago, Revati was married to Pramod Sahu of Kasdol. Meanwhile, two children were born. Among them, eight-year-old Madhav was the elder son and the younger son is just four years old. Before Corona, there was a dispute between the husband and wife, so Revati first came to live in her maternal home Aamagohan with the younger son. The elder son Madhav was left with his father Pramod. Pramod brought him from Kasdol and left him in Khongsara. After which he started living with his mother. During this time, Revati was introduced to Gaurav Sahu, a resident of village Kaitha in Janjgir district. Both started living as husband and wife. On December 10, Gaurav Sahu left the house with his step son Madhav. After which he switched off his mobile and disappeared. Here, Revati kept wandering in search of her sons Madhav and Gaurav. This information was known to the people of the whole village. Meanwhile, on December 22, Gaurav suddenly came to Aamagohan, then people caught him.
When the villagers questioned him about Madhav, he panicked. Due to fear, he himself called the police by dialling 112. When the police arrived, the villagers told about him, then the police took Gaurav to Belgahna outpost. When the police started questioning him about the child, he told them that he had killed the child and dumped the body in the forest. Since then, the police have been searching for the child’s body.
