The lover who disposed of the girlfriend’s body in the ruins has been arrested, the body was found on January 31

Manendragarh. A sensational case of the brutal murder of a school girl due to a love affair has come to light in Manendragarh. The City Kotwali Police has arrested the accused in this case. The accused was an acquaintance of the girl and was in contact with her for the last one year. Additional Superintendent of Police Ashok Wadegavkar, while revealing the whole case, said that on January 31, information was received about the body of a girl student being found in a ruined house in the railway colony, on which the spot was immediately inspected and the forensic team was called. After which the Superintendent of Police reached the spot as soon as the information about the case was received.

On Friday, January 1, the girl left for home after school but she did not reach home. The family searched around, but no clue was found. At around 4 pm, information was received that the body of a minor was lying in the ruined quarters of the railway in the railway colony. The police reached the spot and saw that the girl student was murdered by hitting her with a heavy object.

Considering the seriousness of the case, a special team was formed and investigation was started. Evidence was collected with the help of forensic experts. During the investigation, the accused was identified who was hiding in Chirmiri area after the incident. The police team surrounded him and took him into custody. During police interrogation, the accused Virendra Kumar alias Sunny admitted that he knew the student from before and both of them used to talk. Due to some dispute, he committed the crime. The police arrested the accused and sent him on judicial remand.
