‘The Kapil Sharma Show’: Reena Roy bunked class to catch a glimpse of Rajesh Khanna

Mumbai (IANS). Veteran actresses Moushumi Chatterjee and Reena Roy will be seen in the upcoming episode of comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Both will share stories from the golden era of Bollywood.

In the show, Reena reveals that she had a crush on Bollywood’s first superstar Rajesh Khanna and used to skip her classes and gather outside his house with her friends to catch a glimpse of him.

The actress said, “As a child, I was in love with Rajesh Khanna’s films and my fascination led me to take some drastic measures. Instead of going to school, I used to walk outside his house with my friends, hoping to catch a glimpse of him. Used to leave class and stand with her.”

She further added, “My obsession grew to such an extent that I started spending my pocket money to watch her films along with taking my sister’s piggy bank. However, as fate had it, I eventually entered the film industry myself. entered, which gave me an incredible opportunity to meet and work with Rajesh Khanna.
