Raipur. The government has decided to take forward the work on Shanti Nagar Yojana. It was told that the draft of the scheme has been discussed at the departmental level. The proposal is expected to be approved in the next cabinet meeting.
It was told that the government has agreed to take forward the work on the Shanti Nagar Yojana of the previous government, but further work on the scheme could not progress. Now the government has decided to take forward the work on the scheme through the Housing Board. In this regard, Housing-Environment Minister OP Choudhary has agreed to hold a departmental meeting and bring a proposal to the cabinet. Housing Board Chairman Anurag said that the process of land transfer for the implementation of the scheme has not been completed.
The land is still in the name of the Water Resources Department. The process related to transfer of land from the Collector to the Board has been completed. Now the cabinet approval is pending. This process is expected to be completed soon. After this, further steps will be taken towards the implementation of the scheme.
