It oversees initiatives like the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), which aims to create an integrated digital health ecosystem. Authentication is crucial in digital health to ensure secure access to sensitive health data and maintain patient privacy. This includes verifying the identity of users like patients, healthcare providers and administrators before providing access to digital health systems like electronic health records (EHR), telemedicine platforms and mobile health apps. Innovative technologies like block chain are being used to enhance authentication in digital health. Our country is hyper connected now, so this is now fantastic for implementation purposes. With the CoWin platform we now have 2.4 billion records. He also added that AI helps create customized treatments for each individual thereby making healthcare precision.”
