The family members called the death of the supervisor a murder, and directed to dig a grave and conduct a postmortem of the body

Korba. The case of the death of a youth under suspicious circumstances in the month of April in the Balco police station area is now taking a new turn. After two months, the grave of the youth Tabrez Raza will be dug and post-mortem and investigation will be done, so that the real cause of death can be revealed. After the complaint of the relatives, the administration has given permission to dig the grave.

24-year-old Tabrez Raza, a resident of Rumgra, went to work in Almina Power Plant in Raigarha, Odisha with contractor Arun Pal in April 2025. There he was working as a driver and supervisor. On April 19, the contractor called and told that Tabrez’s health had suddenly deteriorated. He advised the family not to come to Odisha citing a minor illness and returned directly to Korba with the body. The last rites were performed without conducting a post-mortem. Tabrez’s father Nazar Imam said that the son used to call every day, he was completely healthy. He has accused the contractor of hiding information and lying. He says that a youth cannot die due to a minor illness. Earlier the police did not take any action on the complaint of the family. After this, he appealed to the collector, on which the administration has ordered to dig the grave and conduct the post-mortem. This process will be completed in a day or two and the entire process will also be videographed. Contractor Arun Pal has also been called to Korba for questioning.
