The Excise Department confiscated 2600 kg of Mahua Lahan along with 400 liters of Mahua liquor

As per the instructions of the Collector of Janjgir Champa district Akash Chikara and the special assistant commissioner of Excise, the team of the Excise Department of the district took strong action against illegal liquor manufacturing and storage in the Shivrinarayan police station area, where there was a stir among the liquor mafia. Let us tell you that Mahua liquor was being made for a long time in Deori Sabariya Dera under Shivrinarayan, on which on the information of the informer, the team of the Excise Department recovered 400 liters of Mahua liquor and 2600 kg of Mahua Lahan from the banks of Mahanadi and took action under Section 34 (2) of the Excise Act. Excise Sub Inspector Vikas Pal Sande, Pamgarh Incharge Ramesh Singh Sidar Chief Constable Rajesh Pandey, Mukesh Sharma, had an important contribution in the said action.
