The entire family including Mitanin became victims of heinous murder

Pithora. Hemlal Sahu, a resident of village Thargaon in Balodabazar district, 35 km from the city, including 5 members of his family, were murdered. One of his neighbors committed suicide by hanging himself in the house of the deceased. An eyewitness told that Hemlal Sahu used to live his life with his family in Thargaon. His wife Jagamukhi Sahu used to work on the post of Mitanin in the village itself. The family was in their home on Friday night. After having dinner, he saw one of his daughters, Meera, who was mentally retarded, and his other married daughter, Mamta, who had come to her parents’ home from her in-laws’ house in Sarasinwa a few days ago with her 5-year-old son. After having dinner at night, the whole family slept at home.

Meanwhile, Manoj Sahu alias Pappu Taylor (27), a resident of the neighborhood, reached the house of the deceased family and attacked all the members of the house with an axe. All 5 members of the family died on the spot in the attack. After killing everyone, the accused Manoj himself committed suicide by hanging himself in a corner of the room of the deceased. Regarding the reasons behind the incident, some residents in the neighborhood of the incident place are suspecting that accused Manoj may have a one-sided love affair with someone from this family. However, complete official information about the incident has not been received yet.

Saliha police reached the spot and started investigating the case. The incident site has been completely sealed. There is silence in the area after the incident.
