One year ago, the accused and the girl got to know each other through Instagram. After which, on the pretext of marriage, the accused seduced the applicant and raped her.

Actually, on May 19, the applicant complained against the accused Rahul Yadav in the police station. The accused describes himself as a resident of Madhya Pradesh. Due to which the girl’s life was recognized 1 year ago through Instagram. Both used to talk to each other. The girl told that on August 2, 2022, after coming to Rajnandgaon and taking her to Dongargarh, on the pretext of marriage, the accused forcefully had a physical relationship with her. After which she refused to marry. On this complaint of the girl, the police registered the crime.

Seeing the seriousness of the case, on the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, a team was constituted and after checking the screenshots and numbers of Instagram chatting given by the applicant with the help of cyber cell, the accused was found to be a resident of Madhya Pradesh Harda. For whose arrest the team immediately left for Harda in MP. The residence of the accused was raided by siege with the help of Harda police. In which the accused Rahul Yadav was caught. He accepted the crime after being interrogated in custody. Due to the fact that the act of the accused was found to be an offense under the section Sadar, he was duly arrested and produced in the court on judicial remand. From where he was sent to jail.
