The deceased worked in a hospital, the body found in Kamal Vihar was identified

Raipur. The half-dead body of a dead woman found in the bushes of Kamal Vihar in the capital Raipur has been identified. The deceased woman Kevra Bai (50 years) lived in Lalpur, Devpuri and worked in a hospital. The woman’s husband has died and she also has two children. Why was the woman murdered and what was the reason behind it? It is being investigated by Tikrapara police.

Actually, this entire matter is of Tikrapara police station area. On May 22, a woman’s body was found amidst bushes in Kamal Vihar Sector 4. As soon as information about the incident was received, Tikrapara police reached the spot. During investigation, the police said that the woman was first murdered, after which the accused burnt her face out of fear of being caught.

Investigation also revealed that the dead body was three to four days old. The woman was missing from her home since May 18. On May 21, family members had lodged a missing report in the police station. Family members told that the woman used to stay out of the house for two days at a time. This time, when the woman did not return home even after two days, the family members informed the police station on the third day, fearing some untoward incident.
