The date of paddy procurement will be announced after the cabinet meeting

Raipur: This year, it is proposed to start paddy procurement from November 15 after Diwali and Rajyotsav. This was discussed in the sub-committee of ministers chaired by Food Minister Dayal Das Baghel and the proposal was locked for the cabinet. Ministers Ramvichar Netam, OP Choudhary, Shyam Bihari Jaiswal were present in the meeting. On the other hand, before starting paddy procurement, the Food and Cooperative Department will have to deal with the strike.

Computer operators working in more than two thousand procurement centers of the state have sat on a dharna in Tuta.

Their number is around 2800. These people have been struggling with salary crisis for the last 7 months. These members of Chhattisgarh Computer Operator Association are also demanding their regularization, the benefit of 27% increase in contract salary in lump sum from August 23. They say that they will return to the procurement centers only when their demands are met.
