Chhattisgarh State Level Junior Red Cross Training cum Goodwill Camp organized by Indian Red Cross Society Durg was inaugurated today at Bharti University Pulgaon under the chief hospitality of Divisional Commissioner Shri Satyanarayan Rathore and under the chairmanship of Inspector General of Police Ramgopal Garg. On this occasion, Red Cross Society CEO M.K. Raut, Chairman Ashok Kumar Agarwal, Divisional Commissioner Satyanarayan Rathore, Inspector General of Police Ramgopal Garg, Collector and President Ms. Richa Prakash Chaudhary inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. In the five-day long Junior Red Cross Meet, on the second day today, students from 33 districts marched past and saluted the guests. Thereafter, horse riding was demonstrated by the battalion, which was highly appreciated by the people.

Addressing the Junior Red Cross Meet 2024, Divisional Commissioner Satyanarayan Rathore said that this program is being organized for the first time in Chhattisgarh. He said that all the students participating in this camp are making a significant contribution towards human service by understanding the objectives of the Red Cross. Red Cross is committed to serve and help others. For this, he congratulated all the participants. Raut said that the state level Junior Red Cross Meet has been organized from 18 to 22 October to reach the humanitarian activities and training of Red Cross to every school in the state. More than 800 students have participated in this jamboree. School children have been included in the Junior Red Cross service, because today’s child is tomorrow’s citizen. Our duty is for the work of society and public. Red Cross Blood Bank is associated with blood donation. The biggest work is to donate blood. He motivated all the participants to participate in the competition and said that when you leave from here, take the trophy in your hand. Whenever there is talk of jamboree, you should come forward.

Inspector General of Police Ramgopal Garg said that the Indian Red Cross was formed in India in the year 1920.
