The alliance’s stand will be announced soon: O. Panneerselvam

Tamil Nadu: Former Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam said he will announce his alliance partner for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections in a few days. He also said he has not yet received an invitation to attend Prime Minister Modi’s public meeting in Chengalpattu on the 23rd.
O. Panneerselvam, who on Saturday paid tribute to AIADMK founder and former Chief Minister MGR on his 109th birth anniversary by garlanding his statue on Chennai’s Anna Salai, later told reporters:
The status of the AIADMK Volunteers Rights Recovery Association’s alliance will be announced in a few days. I have not yet received an invitation to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public meeting in Chengalpattu on January 23rd.
The AIADMK has been successful for 50 years under the rules and regulations set by MGR. Now, some changes have been made, and this has affected the party. We approached the Supreme Court regarding this. There, they told us to go to civil court. The case is still pending in court.
We are determined to get justice. Therefore, I am not going to start a new party. Our aim is to unite the AIADMK. All the fragmented forces must unite to form an AIADMK government again, he said.
