Thaveka attacked the DMK, saying it would be wiped out in every upcoming election in Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu: The political war of words between the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and opposition parties in Tamil Nadu is steadily intensifying. In this context, the Tamil Nadu Vetri Kazhagam (THAVEKA) has launched a scathing political attack on the DMK and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin. The party has claimed that the DMK will be completely wiped out in all future elections in the state.

In a post released on THAVEKA’s official X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday, the party responded to Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s recent statement. The post stated that the Chief Minister proudly stated that former Chief Minister and popular actor M.G. Ramachandran (MGR) was once a part of the DMK and became a member of the Legislative Assembly for the first time with DMK support. The party acknowledged this as part of history, but also mentioned MGR’s later political career.

THAVEKA stated in its statement that MGR believed until the end of his life that the DMK was his biggest political rival. The party claims that MGR had described the DMK as an “evil force” and denied it a chance to return to power during his political career. The post stated that MGR’s political thinking and struggle cannot be limited to his early political career.

The post also mentioned Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s statement that elections in Tamil Nadu could be held at any time. Reacting to this, Thaveka alleged that the Chief Minister was making such statements due to fear of losing power and political pressure. The party stated that public sentiment had changed and the political situation in the state was no longer the same.

Thaveka claimed in his statement that whenever future elections are held in Tamil Nadu, be it for the Assembly, Lok Sabha, or local bodies, the DMK would not receive public support. The party stated that the DMK was certain to be “100 percent wiped out” in all upcoming elections and that the people of the state would decide in favor of change.

The party also stated that the public is evaluating the government’s performance and will express its verdict through the democratic process. According to Thaveka, the political climate in the state is rapidly changing and voters are moving towards a new direction.

Through this statement, Thaveka has attempted to present herself as a strong political alternative in the state. The party says that the demand for change in Tamil Nadu politics is growing steadily and its impact will be felt in the upcoming elections.

However, there was no immediate official response from the DMK on Thaveka’s claims. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s statement and Thaveka’s response indicate an intensification of political rhetoric in the state.

For some time now, various political parties in Tamil Nadu have been constantly hurling accusations at each other in view of the upcoming elections. Thaveka’s statement has also become a topic of political discussion. It is expected that the election strategies and rhetoric between the political parties in the state will intensify in the coming times.

Thaveka has currently clarified his political stance against the DMK through his official social media platform, claiming that the public will oust the DMK from power in all future elections. The ruling party’s response to this matter is now awaited.
