Telangana: Traders demand one ton of mango for Rs 1,000 in the market

Telangana : A farmer who was upset when traders asked for a tonne of mangoes at the market for Rs 1,000. Why should they give it to you for so less? The incident took place in Warangal city on Monday. Busa Yellaswamy, a farmer from Ilanda village in Vardhanpet mandal, brought about a tonne of mangoes from his garden to the Warangal fruit market. He expected to get at least Rs 20,000. He was shocked when the traders asked for only Rs 1,000. He came out of the market and said that he would distribute it to people for free, but not to you. He distributed a tonne of mangoes at the Shivanagar underbridge RTC bus stop. The farmer expressed his grief that while the price per tonne is currently quoted up to Rs 30,000, the traders are reducing it much less in the name of quality,
