Telangana: Secunderabad Cantt MLA Shri Ganesh took oath

Hyderabad: Congress leader Mr Ganesh, elected MLA from Secunderabad Cantonment, took oath in the Assembly on Thursday. Speaker Gaddam Prasad administered the oath. Legislative Affairs Minister D Sridhar Babu, Hyderabad in-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and others attended the event. Later, the Speaker and the Minister congratulated Mr Ganesh.

The Congress fielded Narayanan Mr Ganesh for the Secunderabad Cantonment by-election. The by-election for the Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly constituency was held along with the Lok Sabha election on May 13, following the death of BRS MLA Lasya Nanditha in a road accident. Mr Ganesh won by a margin of 13,206 votes over BJP candidate Vansh Tilak and BRS candidate Niveditha.
