Telangana: Sankranti holidays announced in schools, inter colleges

Hyderabad: Schools in the state will have short holidays for the Sankranti festival during six days starting January 12. Schools will reopen on January 18.

After the holidays, formative assessment-2 for the students of classes 4, similarly, summative assessment-2 for classes 1 to 9 is to be conducted from April 8 to 18.

Meanwhile, there will be Sankranti holidays for intermediate level students from January 13 to 16 and secondary schools will reopen on January 17. Prefinal examinations will be held from 22 to 29 January.

Intermediate practical examinations for general and professional courses will be conducted from February 1 to 15. The practical examination of English for first year students admitted in the academic year 2023-24 is on 16 February.

TS BIE will conduct the Ethics and Human Values test for the students admitted before and late for the academic year 2023-24 on February 17. The environmental education exam is on 19th February.
