Telangana: Railway Madad app saved the life of a person stranded during Goa trip

Kazipet: A quick and coordinated response by the Government Railway Police (GRP) and railway officials helped reunite a passenger stranded at Kazipet junction with his group on Wednesday. According to officials, a group of over 35 people from Raipur was travelling to Goa by train number 17322. When the train halted at Ghanpur station around 9:30 pm on Tuesday, one of the passengers, Krishna Patel, got off to defecate. However, before he could re-board, the train started moving and a confused Patel was left behind in the dark.
Another passenger, Rupesh Kumar, quickly realised that Patel was missing and used the Railway Madad helpline (9575343252) to report the incident. Acting on the alert, railway officials contacted the GRP at Ghanpur, who soon traced Krishna Patel and brought him safely to Kazipet railway junction. Simultaneously, railway officials on board the train coordinated with police personnel accompanying the train to trace Patel’s group. His two friends then went back to Kazipet to reunite with him. The trio later resumed their journey to Goa by another train. The prompt and effective action of GRP personnel Upendra, Raghavendra and railway lineman Sadanandam was praised by fellow passengers.
