Telangana ministers visit Durga temple

VijayawadaVijayawada: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu BhattiVikramark and IT Minister D Sridhar on Tuesday visited Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam (Durga Temple) and performed special prayers.

A large number of devotees, including ministers, government officials from Andhra Pradesh and other states are offering prayers at the Durga temple on the occasion of Asadha month. Endowments Commissioner S Satyanarayana and Durga Temple EO KS Rama Rao welcomed the Telangana ministers.

Later the ministers had darshan at Sri Ganapati Swamy Temple and Kanaka Durga Temple atop Indrakiladri. Endowments officials presented prasad and a picture of the goddess.
