Telangana: BRS leader attacked by Congress workers

Nagarkurnool: Attacks on Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders are continuing across the state. BRS youth leader and former market committee director Gajula Paramesh was attacked on Thursday midnight allegedly by followers of Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao. Paramesh has been raising his voice against the Congress government’s failure to fulfil promises made to the people. Moreover, on the eve of BRS MLC Kavitha’s visit and other programmes in Kollapur, Paramesh along with other party workers were putting up BRS party banners and flexies.
Paramesh Paramesh Paramesh was attacked on Thursday midnight at Satpur village under Peddakothapally mandal. He was immediately rushed to the hospital by the locals where he was treated. He was discharged by doctors on Friday morning. BRS leaders complained that despite the attack on Paramesh, police officials did not take any action against those involved in the attack. BRS MLC K Kavitha met Paramesh and assured him of all possible support from the party. She also warned the Congress leaders that any such incident and attack on BRS leaders will not be tolerated.
