Telangana Bar Council elections held peacefully

The elections for the selection of members of the Bar Council across Telangana were held on Friday in 69 booths in the Kodad court premises. The Kodad Bar Association made all the arrangements for this. While 23 people were to be elected across the state, 203 candidates contested the election. Local lawyers exercised their right to vote in the polling booth set up in the Kodad court premises. Chinthakuntla Lakshminarayana Reddy, Ramisetty Ramakrishna, senior advocate Sadhu Sarath Babu, and Edlapalli Venkateswarlu were the polling officers. Meanwhile, the election process was monitored by First Additional Junior Civil Judge MD Umar and Superintendent Mosin Ali. Bar Association Vice President Uyyala Narasaiah, senior lawyers SRK Murthy, Sudhakar Reddy, Venkat Rao, Devabattini Nagarjuna, Yashwanth, Ranga Rao and other lawyers exercised their right to vote.
