Team India : Champions reached Mumbai airport
Team India: The Indian team reached Delhi from Barbados today i.e. on 4th July after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 title. After landing at the airport in the morning, it stayed at Hotel ITC Maurya. From here, after some time, the Indian team along with the support staff reached PM Modi’s residence to meet him. Where the BCCI presented PM Modi with a Namo-1 jersey. Now the Indian team has reached Mumbai.
Team India performed very well in the T20 World Cup 2024. In the final match, India defeated South Africa by 7 runs and won the T20 World Cup title after 17 years. After becoming the champion, the team got stuck there due to the cyclone in Barbados and then BCCI Secretary Jay Shah sent Team India to Delhi through a special charter flight. After becoming the champion, the Indian team, which reached Delhi, was welcomed with great fanfare at the airport this morning. Fans were eager to get a glimpse of Team India’s players and the trophy.
