Teacher robbed in Kondagaon
Kondagaon. A female teacher was robbed in a crowded area. The robbers snatched the woman’s purse and fled. The robbery took place in front of the Primary Health Center located on the National Highway at 12 noon. The purse contained about 12 thousand cash, 2 gold chains, 2 rings, jewelry and important documents. On receiving information about the incident, the police arrived and is investigating the CCTV footage installed nearby.
According to the information received, Kondagaon resident teacher Rekha Thakur said that she had left the house on foot to go to the market. As soon as she reached in front of the Community Health Center, two persons came from behind and snatched the purse from the woman’s hand and fled. Before the woman could understand anything, the robbers fled. The female teacher said that she had left the house on foot and had gone to the market to get her gold chain and ring repaired, when she became a victim of robbery. According to the victim, the purse contained about 6 tola gold jewelry, cash, ATM card, bank passbook and other important documents.
