Teacher booked under POCSO Act

Today, a case under Section 8 of the POCSO Act was registered at the women police station in Kullu on a complaint from the Project Coordinator of the Child Welfare Committee, Kullu.

The complainant alleged that a teacher had sexually harassed several girl students of Government Middle School in Kullu. “We are looking at all aspects of the case and efforts are on to nab the teacher,” said a police officer.
