TDP President Abdul Aziz condemns attacks on media by YCP

Nellore Parliament TDP President Sheikh Abdul Aziz has strongly condemned the recent attacks on media in Andhra Pradesh, blaming it on the fear of investigation and criticism by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party members. In a statement, Abdul Aziz underlined the importance of maintaining freedom of the press and ensuring that the public’s right to ask questions is protected. Abdul Aziz stressed that attacks on media outlets and journalists are indicative of efforts to suppress dissent and criticism, especially during investigations of alleged corruption and malfeasance within the government. He criticized the YCP leadership for resorting to intimidation tactics and aggressive rhetoric against media representatives, and stressed that such actions have no place in a democratic society.
