Tata Harrier EV launched in India at starting price of Rs 21.49 lakh, offers all-wheel drive option

Tata Harrier EV has been launched in India at an introductory starting price of Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Harrier EV is the first electric SUV from the manufacturer that will get all-wheel drive setup. The bookings for the Harrier EV will open on July 2, 2025.

Design

The Tata Harrier EV gets a design that is similar to the facelifted Harrier. The harrier EV gets new closed-off grille along with revised bumper. The Harrier EV gets new 19-inch alloy wheels along with EV badging on front doors. There is ‘Harrier.EV’ badging on the tailgate of the SUV. When it comes to dimensions, the Harrier EV is bit longer and taller as compared to the ICE variant. The wheelbase of the electric SUV is 2741mm.

Colours

Colour options on the Tata Harrier EV are Empowered Oxide, Nainital Nocturne, Pristine White, and Pure Grey. Tata will also offer Stealth Edition on the Harrier EV.

Interior, battery and range

Inside the cabin of the SUV, the Tata Harrier EV gets 14.53-inch infotainment screen from Samsung along with dual-tone dashboard. There is a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display along with four-spoke steering wheel. Boot space of the e-SUV is 502 litres/ 999 litres (with 2nd row folded). There is a Level 2 ADAS on the SUV.

When it comes to battery options, the Harrier EV gets 65kWh LFP battery pack with single motor on the rear axle. Higher variants get 75kWh LFP battery pack with dual motors on both axles. The single motor variant gets 238hp while the dual motors variant gets 313hp along with 504hp. In terms of acceleration, 0-100 kmph can be achieved in just 6.3 seconds.

In terms of range, the Harrier EV RWD 75kWh gets 627km range while the AWD 75kWh gets 622km range. A 120kW DC fast charger can charge the battery from 20-80 percent in 25 minutes. On the other hand, the 7.2kW AC charger can charge from 10-100 percent in 10.27 hours.

Trims

Tata Harrier EV is offered in three trims and that include Adventure, Fearless and Empowered. The base Harrier EV Adventure trim costs Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
