Tamil Nadu: The electricity board has issued guidelines to save electricity.

Tamil Nadu: Electricity consumption is increasing day by day, so the Electricity Board has issued 10 guidelines to electricity consumers for the economical use of electricity.

The details are as follows:

1. Switch off electrical appliances when not in use.
2. Use LED lights instead of conventional light bulbs.
3. Make maximum use of natural light and ventilation.
4. Electrical appliances such as fans, ACs, and refrigerators should be properly maintained.
5. Unplug electrical appliances when not in use.
6. Minimize the use of air conditioning. If used, set the temperature between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius.
7. Choose and use appliances that are most energy-efficient.
8. We should promote the use of renewable energy sources like solar power.
9. Avoid using too many electrical appliances in the same room at the same time.
10. It is stated that awareness about energy conservation should be created among families and students.
