Elections are scheduled to be held in West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Assam, and Puducherry. The Election Commission has convened a press conference at 4 PM to announce the election schedule. The terms of these legislative assemblies are expiring on various dates in May and June. The final voter lists for the four states and the Union Territory of Puducherry have been published under the ‘Special Intensive Revision’ (SIR) of the electoral rolls.
