Tamil Nadu: Rain likely in coastal districts today
Tamil Nadu: The Chennai Meteorological Department has stated that rainfall is likely in the coastal districts of Tamil Nadu on Tuesday (March 10).
A press release issued by the Chennai Meteorological Department stated: Due to the prevailing atmospheric circulation from South Tamil Nadu to coastal Karnataka, light rain is likely at one or two places in the coastal districts of Tamil Nadu, as well as in the Puducherry and Karaikal areas, on Tuesday (March 10). Light rain is likely at one or two places in South Tamil Nadu on Wednesday (March 11) and at one or two places in the coastal districts of South Tamil Nadu on Thursday (March 12).
Following this, light rain is likely at one or two places in Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, and Thoothukudi districts on Friday (March 13) and at one or two places in the coastal districts of South Tamil Nadu on March 14 and 15. Chennai and its surrounding areas will experience partly cloudy skies on Tuesday.
Temperature: Maximum temperatures are expected to be near normal in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal on Tuesday and Wednesday. Maximum temperatures are expected to be up to 2 degrees Celsius above normal in some areas on Thursday and Friday (March 12 and 13).
