Tamil Nadu: Rain is likely in the Delta and southern districts today.

Tamil Nadu: The Chennai Meteorological Department has stated that light rain is likely at one or two places in South Tamil Nadu and the delta districts on Thursday (February 5).

Due to a low-pressure area over South Kerala and adjoining areas, light rain is likely at one or two places in South Tamil Nadu, the delta districts, and the Karaikal area on Thursday (February 5). Additionally, northerly winds are expected to prevail over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal areas from February 6 to February 10.

Fog: Light fog is likely at one or two places in the Nilgiris, Salem, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Tirupattur, Vellore, and Ranipet districts from Thursday (February 5) to the morning of February 10. The sky will be partly cloudy over Chennai and Puducherry areas on Thursday.

Fishermen’s Warning: The Meteorological Department has warned that a cyclonic storm with wind speeds of up to 65 kmph is likely to hit the South Tamil Nadu coast, the Gulf of Mannar, and the Comorin Sea on Thursday.
