Tamil Nadu: Northeast monsoon likely to withdraw in two days

Tamil Nadu: The Chennai Meteorological Department has stated that the Northeast Monsoon may withdraw from Tamil Nadu in two days.

The Chennai Meteorological Department issued a press release on Friday regarding this:

The Northeast Monsoon may withdraw from Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, and adjoining South India in the next two days. Consequently, northern weather is expected in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal from Saturday (January 17) to January 22. Light fog is expected at isolated places in the early morning.
