Tamil Nadu minister clarifies Governor’s microphone incident in Assembly

Tamil Nadu Minister S. Raghupathi addressed the controversy surrounding Governor R.N. Ravi’s walkout from the state assembly, clarifying claims that the governor’s microphone was turned off during proceedings.
The minister stated that the allegations were false and that the governor’s speech had already been approved. He further stated that if the governor had any issues with the speech, he could have boycotted the session instead of raising a procedural dispute.
Raghupathi’s remarks reflected the state government’s position that the governor’s actions were unnecessary, and emphasized that legal protocol and constitutional rules must be respected despite disagreements.
