Tamil Nadu: Deputy Chief Minister to inaugurate ‘CREDAI’ exhibition on February 20

Tamil Nadu: Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin will inaugurate the Confederation of Real Estate Associations of India (CREDAI) exhibition on February 20th.

S. Sivagurunathan, former regional president of CREDAI Chennai and consultant for ‘Porpro 2026’, and Vivekananda Choubey, Chennai regional chief general manager of State Bank of India, told reporters at a private residence in Alwarpet, Chennai on Monday:

The 18th annual ‘Porpro 2026’ housing exhibition, organized by the Confederation of Real Estate Associations of India (CREDAI), will be held for three days from the 20th to the 22nd at the new Trade Centre building in Nandambakkam, Chennai. Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin will inaugurate the exhibition on February 20th. Actress Keerthy Suresh has been appointed as the exhibition’s brand ambassador. More than 80 major construction companies from CREDAI Chennai are participating with over 500 projects. State Bank of India is the title sponsor and exclusive banking partner of the exhibition and will provide housing loan facilities.

State Bank of India Chennai Regional Chief General Manager Vivekanand Choubey said that those who participate and take out home loans will be given up to 30 percent discount on processing fees. Based on CIBIL, interest rates for home loans start from 7.10 percent. He said that those with a good CIBIL score will be offered an interest rate of at least 7.1 percent. CREDAI Chennai President Mohammed Ali and Exhibition Coordinator Modish Kumar were present during the meeting.
