T20 World Cup from February 7.. India-Pak high-voltage match in Colombo today..!

The ICC T20 World Cup is going to be held next year. Preparations have begun for this mega tournament. India and Sri Lanka are going to host it jointly. According to reports.. The T20 World Cup is going to start on February 7.. and the final is expected to be held on March 8. A high-voltage match is expected to be held between the long-time rivals India and Pakistan at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on February 15. If the final is not in Ahmedabad, then there is a chance that it will be held in Colombo. India will enter the World Cup at home as the defending champions. India won the last T20 World Cup title in Barbados in June last year. If Pakistan reaches the final, the title match will be held in Sri Lanka.
According to the agreement between the ICC, BCCI and PCB, all matches between India and Pakistan will be held at neutral venues till 2027. Meanwhile, the ICC is already busy finalizing the schedule for the mega tournament. Around 20 teams are participating in the tournament. The ICC has shortlisted the venues for the 2026 T20 World Cup to be hosted by India and Sri Lanka. This includes five venues in India and three in Sri Lanka. The World Cup matches will be held in these. The BCCI has included Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Mumbai in the list. Sri Lanka is likely to host the matches at the R Premadasa and Sinhalese Sports Club Cricket Grounds in Colombo and Pallekele International Cricket Stadiums in Kandy. The ICC is likely to officially announce these venues soon.
