Surat: Youth Festival 2023 organized by Nehru Youth Center

Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India is organizing Youth Festival-2023 in 150 districts of the country, under which district level ‘Youth Festival’ was organized at Oro University, Hazira Road, Bhatpore.

Poetry writing, painting, elocution, photography and cultural competition (group dance) were organized in the youth festival organized under the leadership of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Surat on the theme of Prime Minister’s ‘Panch Prana’ to reveal the latent creativity. Josh among the youth, in which 300 contestants participated.

Police Commissioner Ajay Tomar, District Development Officer B.K. Dignitaries including Vasava honored the first three winners of all the competitions by giving mementos and certificates.

During the Yuva Utsav, a one-day exhibition on ‘8 Years: Service, Good Governance and Poor Welfare’ was organized by the Central Bureau of Communications, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Surat as part of the celebration of hosting the G-20 Summit .

In which the performance and achievements of various departments of Surat such as District Rural Development Agency, Employment Office, Surat, Narcotics and Excise Department, Tourism Department, De-addiction Committee were displayed. Which was seen by the guests and the youth. The youth received a copy of ‘Naya Bharat’ magazine published by the Central Bureau of Communications and information about it.

Police Commissioner Ajay Tomar said that youth should participate in youth activities and participate in the development journey of the country with national spirit. Youth should move towards self-reliance through education as well as employment opportunities and skill development. The youth festival will guide the youth to fly and grow.

District Youth Officer of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Surat, Sachin Sharma appealed to the youth to participate in the development journey of the country and said that there has been a call to participate in the progress of the country.
On this occasion, District Home Guard Commandant Prafullabhai Shiroya, Registrar of Oro University, Prof. Young students including Amrish Mishra were present.
