Surat: Women’s wing of the Chamber conducted industrial visit to Welspun Company, Vapi
The women’s wing of South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) conducted an industrial visit to Welspun India Limited Company, Vapi on Friday. 34 women entrepreneurs including women wing chairperson Jyotsna Gujarathi and secretary Shikha Mehra and members Swati Sethwala and Geeta Vaghasia visited the manufacturing plant.
Company’s Plant Head Rajarshi Ghosh, HR Brijesh Verma, Ritisha Bhatt and Ushaben and GM Jamshed Panthak, Corporate Affairs and Strategic Planning Cell made a detailed presentation about the company in front of the ladies wing of the Chamber. Jyotsna Gujrati, Chairperson, Ladies Wing of the Chamber and Shikha Mehra, Secretary, gave a presentation about the various activities of the Chamber and Ladies Wing.

The women’s wing of the chamber visited the manufacturing, warehouse and dispatch units of the company and made a detailed study of the various products manufactured by the company. An understanding was developed from the raw material manufactured by the company to the final product. Along with this, the women’s wing of the chamber also inquired about the functioning of the state-of-the-art machine, the administrative structure of the company and the contribution made by them in the social sector.
