Surat: Terror of dogs, people avoid coming to the garden due to fear!

Local people are afraid of stray dogs in Rani Shanti Garden of City Light Area. For the past several days, people are troubled because of the dogs. Dogs have bitten 3 to 4 people in this garden, but no action has been taken so far. An online complaint was lodged with the Municipal Corporation by the local residents but no action was taken.

The incidents of dog bites have increased in the city in recent times. After these incidents, Mayor of Surat Municipality Hemaliben has also talked about catching the dog, but the reality seems to be something else.

People who come for early morning walk in Rani Shanti Garden located at City Light in Surat have raised hue and cry due to dog harassment. Every day 10 to 12 dogs sit on the walking ramp in this garden and these dogs have also been seen running after the walkers and there have been incidents of biting two to three people. Due to the tyranny of dogs, women have stopped coming to this garden.

Local residents visiting the park told that since some time the harassment of dogs has increased in this park and due to having more than 10 stray dogs in the park, children do not come here to play and women have also stopped coming here. Now very few people are coming to this garden. Here the children are no longer visible because there is a kingdom of filth in the whole garden too. Because the dogs attack them as soon as they enter inside, due to which the garden now looks empty.
