Surat: Covid mock drill organized at Civil Hospital
A mock drill was organized at the Covid Civil Hospital, Surat. Seeing the way the corona cases are increasing, the system has also been alerted. At present, about 50 beds have been prepared in the Kovid Hospital. All kinds of arrangements have been made in the hospital to deal with the situation of Kovid.
Explored the system by doing mock drill
Where the cases of Kovid are continuously increasing in the entire Gujarat including Surat, the system has also been prepared. Due to increase in cases, a mock drill was organized on Monday at Surat’s Civil Covid Hospital. When the corona wave increased again, the patients were given training for immediate treatment. While the mock drill was taking place, suddenly a young man developed breathlessness and was immediately shifted to Civil COVID Hospital for treatment. The doctors gave immediate treatment to the patient and in the same way preparations are being made so that all corona infected patients can get treatment soon.
Adequate arrangements were made for beds and oxygen
Civil Hospital Superintendent Ganesh Gowalkar said that at present 50 beds have been prepared in the Kovid Hospital of Surat Civil Hospital and oxygen has been filled in the tanks of the oxygen plant. Mock drill has also been conducted as part of the action in case the cases increase in the coming days.
The system is also alert after the visit of the Health Minister
At present, the situation of corona infection in Surat city is under control to a great extent, but the cases of corona infection are increasing gradually in the country. In view of this, the state government is also completing all kinds of preparations under vigilance. Recently the Health Minister made a surprise visit to the new Civil Hospital and only after that the administration organized a mock drill to take stock of the situation. All necessary instructions were given by the Health Minister to the officials of the New Civil Hospital.
