Surat: 33 buyers from 23 countries participate in GJEPC’s Labgrown Buyer-Sellers Meet
The Gem and Jewelery Export Promotion Council Gujarat Region inaugurated the Labgrown Diamond Buyers-Sellers Meet in Surat today. This buyer seller meet has been organized to showcase the progress made in Surat lab developed diamond production at the global level.
Based on the data of major diamond buying companies at various exhibitions held around the world, a select group of 500 potential buyers are selected and invited for the event. 33 buyers from 23 countries have come to Surat to participate in the meet said Regional President Vijay Magukia.
In this meet one to one personal meeting is arranged between buyers and sellers. After the finalization of the deal, the buyers will be made to visit the factory or office. The objective behind this is to provide buyers with more information about the performance of sellers.
To give more impetus to the trade of Labgrown Diamonds, the Gem & Jewelery Export Promotion Council, Gujarat Region, Surat, for the first time organized a Buyers-Sellers Meet at Ruby Hall, La Meridien, near Magdalla Circle, Surat. This buyers sellers meet will last for three days.
