Surat: 12th class student went on a bicycle to visit Kedarnath Baba

About 1500 kilometer long cycle journey from Surat to Kedarnath has been started by class-12 students. The youth left Surat at 11 am on Monday and reached Rajasthan after a gap of five days. The target is progressing in such a way that the youth will reach Kedarnath in 16 to 17 days.

Devotees try to reach Dada’s shrine by bus, car or helicopter, but a 17-year-old youth from Surat has set out to visit Baba Kedarnath with a strange determination. A 17-year-old youth named Rohit Jah, living in Shantivan Residency, Bhestan, Surat, has taken a strange decision and has set out on a journey to Kedarnath by bicycle. The youth has left Surat on a bicycle to visit Kedarnath Dada in Uttarakhand. Rohit started his cycle journey from Surat at 11 am on Monday with slogans and chants of ‘Jai Bholenath’, while today he has reached Rajasthan after a gap of five days.

Started the journey of 1500 km by bicycle

Rohit will reach Baba’s temple by cycling a distance of more than 1500 to 1600 km from Surat to Kedarnath. Rohit will cover a distance of about 100 kilometers daily. According to which he will reach Kedarnath Bhole Baba temple in the next 15 to 16 days.

After completing his 12th standard examination, he set out on Baba’s journey

Rohit, a 17-year-old youth who set out for Kedarnath alone on a bicycle, has now appeared for the 12th commerce board exam. After completing his board exams, decided to cycle from Surat to Kedarnath. At a very young age, Rohit has organized a strange adventure of traveling by bicycle from Surat to Kedarnath without any support. Rohit Jah, originally from Bihar, said, I left for Kedarnath from Surat at 11 am last Monday, I have reached Rajasthan on the fifth day today. I wanted to visit Kedarnath for a long time. At first did not want to go by cycle, then decided to go to Kedarnath by cycle.

Rohit further said, I had practiced a lot before going to Kedarnath by bicycle. Used to practice cycling to cover long distances. Practiced cycling 50 to 60 kilometers daily. I have also recently completed my class 12th exam as I cycled from Surat to Mumbai before going to Kedarnath. So now I have left for Kedarnath as per my decision.

The target is to reach Kedarnath in 16 to 17 days

Earlier I had thought of going to Kedarnath on 9th April. However, on the auspicious day of Bhole Baba, on Monday, April 10, he left for Kedarnath on a bicycle at the behest of his family and friends. The target is to reach Kedarnath in 16 to 17 days. Aim to cycle 100 km a day. Before opening the doors of Kedarnath Dham, there is a desire to reach Baba’s door and have darshan.
