Supervisor accused of harassing, complaint to collector

Dhamtari. Anganwadi workers and helpers of Demar sector of Chhattisgarh district have united against the supervisor. Anganwadi worker-helpers are accusing the supervisor of harassing them financially, socially and mentally. Action has also been demanded from the Collector, while the Anganwadi workers-helpers are talking about going on strike if no action is taken.

Anganwadi workers say that they are being ill-treated by the supervisor. Anganwadi worker and Sahayika Manch said that the supervisor demands money in the name of not inspecting the Anganwadi. On the other hand, for non-payment of money, repeated inspection of Anganwadi is harassed by them and notices are handed over for small things. Along with this, Anganwadi workers and helpers are not given leave even for a day. The Women and Child Development Department says that a complaint has been received against the supervisor. Action will be taken against them after the investigation report comes.
