Summer sports training camp organized from 20th May to 9th June
Narayanpur. Like every year, this year also a 21-day summer sports training camp is being organized under the guidance and direction of Collector Mr. Bipin Manjhi, courtesy of the District Administration and Sports and Youth Welfare Department, from 6 to 8 am every day from 20 May to 09 January 2024. It will be organized from 5 to 7 pm, in which the players of boys and girls group of sub junior category (up to 14 years), junior category (up to 17 years) will be given training in athletics, football, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kha, mallakhamb, badminton, table tennis. Training in Taekwondo, Kickboxing, Cricket, Skating and Yoga will be provided by skilled trainers from sports centers and various institutions of the district. Training of athletics, football, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, badminton, table tennis and yoga at the sports complex ground of the district headquarters, training of mallakhm at Khelo India Mini Centre, skating training at the helipad parade ground, cricket training at the cricket training centre. Training and free training of Taekwondo and Kickboxing will be provided in Vishwadeepti School.
Sports material and snacks will be arranged by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department for the training of the trainees participating in the summer sports training camp.
