Sujatha rebukes Kandi over derogatory comments

ADILABAD: TPCC general secretary Gadrath Sujatha, who recently resigned from Congress, on Tuesday warned Congress candidate Kandi Srinivas Reddy that he would hit him with footwear for his derogatory comments against her.

During the election campaign in Bela two days ago, Srinivas Reddy told people to teach Sujatha a lesson like that of god Laxmana, who cut off the nose of the demoness Soorpanakha. He also alleged that Sanjeev Reddy, the independent candidate, and his supporters accepted bribes from BRS candidate Jogu Ramanna.

The video of her comments went viral.

Speaking to the media, along with Sanjeev Reddy and Sajid Khan, Sujatha challenged Kandi to prove her allegations. If he fails, she warned him to hit him with a slipper. Building him up to behave like a human, she said Kandi had insulted all women and communities in British Columbia. She added that a complaint was filed with the police and the chief electoral officer seeking disqualification of her candidature for violating the electoral code of conduct.
