Suicide in CRPF camp, soldier shoots himself

Jagdalpur. CRPF 150 battalion soldier committed suicide by shooting himself with his comrade’s service gun due to mental stress. As soon as the incident was known, other soldiers took the injured soldier to a nearby hospital for better treatment, where doctors declared him dead.

Police officials said that the deceased soldier was Roshan Singh, a resident of Rohtak in Bihar district and was doing duty in the 150 battalion of Dornapal only in the camp for several months. On Tuesday, suddenly the soldier picked up the gun of his fellow soldier and shot himself, due to which he died on the spot. Hearing the sound of the bullet, other fellow soldiers also reached the spot, where considering the soldier injured, they took him to the district hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.
