Such a feat of fake police…couple targeted
Gorakhpur: After visiting the Budhiya Mai temple in Kusmhi forest of AIIMS police station area of Gorakhpur, the miscreants kept an eye on the couples who went to Vinod Van. The miscreants used to follow them while doing recce. Then, posing as policemen, they used to beat them up and misbehave with them and also make a video of it. Extortion was done on the basis of this video. On Friday, the accused attacked the police team that had gone to catch the people who blackmailed and looted a young man and woman of Kushinagar. The police showed courage and caught four miscreants including two other accused. Two of the miscreants caught were history sheeters.
There is a discussion in Kusmhi area that Diana alias Dayashankar alias Devendra Nishad, who has been sent to jail, used to mention in his diary those with whom he misbehaved. His companions used to blackmail them by making videos from mobile. It is said that this gang has made more than two hundred people its victims in the last 10 years. They have the protection of some local leaders.
Last Wednesday, a youth from Kushinagar, Hata area went to visit Vinod Van with his female relative in the afternoon. Then three miscreants on a bike threatened to send him to jail by posing as policemen. To avoid this, they demanded 50 thousand rupees. After taking five thousand in cash, they also made a transaction of 4500 rupees through UPI. In this case, the police have arrested Ramgarh alias Rajhi Diana alias Dayashankar, Abhishek Rajbhar of Kusamhi Bazaar, Rajveer Nishad, resident of Ramvapur of Pipraich and Saksham and Sahil and sent them to jail. In this case, another accused, history-sheeter Rajneesh Tiwari, resident of Ward No. 19 of Deoria Kotwali, was sent to jail on Thursday.
There was a lot of activity in Kusamhi area on Saturday. People say that these miscreants used to commit crimes every day under the protection of some local leaders. Diana used to record her activities in the jungle in her diary. The police are searching for that diary.
