SUCCESS GIBS ALUMNI CONFERENCE 2025
Delhi Delhi: From tunes and memories to milestones, the GIBS family celebrated not just the reunion but also the recent rise to fame of the school, which has been ranked 18th nationally in the IIRF 2025 Best Business School Rankings, with a surprising 3rd position in the state of Karnataka and 5th in entire South India.
This grand get-together of old and existing students, reflecting the hope of an old but promising future, called the GIBS Alumni Meet 2025, took place on 22nd March 2025 at Untamed Tales of Flamingo (TOF), Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore. The massive participation of alumni from various batches and industries was a powerful testimony to the enduring bond of the GIBS family and its strong connection with the new generation.
GIBS spirit rekindled
The buzz of GIBS was rekindled as soon as the doors of the venue opened at 5:00 PM. Energy filled the entire campus as everyone reunited over warm sips and had cordial conversations that brought laughter and jokes to the room. Slowly, but surely, the set buzzed with life. With PGDM and MBA alumni from the last decade gathering not just from the finance sector or top-tier FinTech firms but from marketing and media to HR and health tech, uniting them was one decisive factor, the honour of being a GIBSian.
The theme of the evening was both straightforward and engaging as guests were invited to ‘Live Again. Reconnect. Rejoice’. This gathering was much more than just a reunion – it was an occasion to celebrate the journeys that began at GIBS and have now turned into success stories across the globe.
Acknowledging Achievements and Paying Tributes
The grand reception was followed by the Alumni Honour Awards, which were the highlight of the evening and inspired everyone present. GIBS took full advantage of this gathering to honour alumni who have made a name for themselves in their field as changemakers, startup founders, professionals, and even mentors for the next generation.
Each award was not given in the form of a trophy, but rather it was given in the form of a story. From leading teams in Fortune 500 companies to entrepreneurs whose ideas grew into thriving ventures during their GIBS days, this resonance is certainly never forgotten. Emotions ran high as fellow graduates recalled cheering for each other during the days they actually achieved success, a dream that was usually discussed over coffee breaks and late-night shop.
