Students danced in Kallar School, the audience also danced

Swarghat. The annual prize distribution ceremony was celebrated with great pomp at Government Senior Secondary School, Kallar. Former cabinet minister Ram Lal Thakur participated in the function as the chief guest. The function was organized under the chairmanship of Principal Roshan Lal Sharma. The program started by lighting the lamp by the chief guest.

Principal Roshan Lal Sharma honored the chief guest by presenting him a shawl, cap and memento. On this occasion, the students created a lot of fun by presenting cultural programs including group singing, solo singing, dance and Pahari Nati. Principal Roshan Lal Sharma presented the annual report of the school before the chief guest and apprised him about the development works taking place in the school.

The chief guest presented awards to the meritorious children who excelled in education, sports and other activities. He said that the work of the four walls of the school has been done at a cost of Rs 12.5 lakh and for the remaining work he has released Rs 3.5 lakh and the remaining work will also be done soon.

He advised the children to work hard continuously. He also said that both teachers and parents should work together to create such qualities in children which can be useful to them in future. Both teachers and parents play an important role in making the life of a student.

After the conclusion of the program, former minister Ramlal Thakur listened to the problems of the people of Kallar Panchayat. Professor Amar Singh Thakur, Ram Saran Thakur, Vijay Pal, Mahendra Pal Katwal, Anju Devi, Sapna Thakur, Babita Bhatti etc. were present on this occasion.
