Students clashed with each other late night at NIT Hamirpur; Attacked each other with rods..Stones also pelted

Hamirpur. In NIT Hamirpur late night students brawled and pelted each other with stones. It is being told that many students have been injured in this incident. In Hamirpur, the only National Institute of Technology in the state, there was a tremendous clash between the students late on Saturday night and they were seen attacking each other with rods and stones. The incident of fracas took place in the Central Block, just opposite the Admin Block, where a large number of students had gathered and the fracas continued till 11 pm.

According to the information received, students of first and second year are said to be involved in this incident of fighting. The students stay in two different hostels named Kailash and Neelkanth. After the incident, the deployment of guards outside the hostel continued throughout the night. According to the information received so far, the reason for the fight is said to be a mutual argument between the students. This incident happened in such a big National Institute of Technology has also raised questions on the arrangements of NIT because children from all over the country come to study in this institute and somewhere this incident is a question on everyone’s security system.
In this incident of brawl, girl students of the institute were also heard shouting.
