Students are very upset with the superintendent and peon, collector ordered an investigation

Dantewada: Students of Hitameta Pota Cabin of the district have complained to the collector about the superintendent and peon. Students allege that we neither get proper food in the Pota Cabin nor is their behavior right for us. There are more than 400 children in the Pota Cabin, there is no arrangement for them from going to the toilet to drinking water.

The collector has assured to investigate. Actually, Hitameta Pota Cabin is in Geedam block. Students of class 10th and other classes studying in this Pota Cabin reached Dantewada Collector Mayank Chaturvedi. They told the collector that there is a lack of facilities including living, food, drinking water in the Pota Cabin. The superintendent does not pay attention to improving the arrangements of the Pota Cabin, due to which they are facing problems.

The students said that a demand has been made to the collector to remove the superintendent and peon. When we talked to him, the collector took the matter seriously. After which he has assured that he will investigate the matter and improve the entire system.
