Student suffering from muscular dystrophy gets BALLB degree
Raipur. The sixth convocation ceremony of Hidayatullah National Law University held at Nava Raipur was completed. All eyes were on 23-year-old Priyesh Pathak, who received the BALLB degree on Sunday. Priyesh Pathak is suffering from serious illness Gritti Ulrich muscular dystrophy. While fighting this disease, he studied and obtained BALB degree. Chancellor of HNLU and Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court Ramesh Sinha awarded BALB degree to Priyesh Pathak.
Priyesh Pathak told that he is suffering from Gritti Ulrich muscular dystrophy for the last ten years. He said that “I had passed class 12th with PCM (Physics Chemistry and Maths) as my major subjects and cleared CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). Then I took admission in HNLU. I am interested. I am interested in civil and legal services. I want to give UPSC exam in future. I have been able to reach here because of my friends and family. My parents and my friends have been instrumental in my success Are.”
Priyesh Pathak’s father Pradeep Kumar Pathak told that Priyesh had passed JEE Advanced and UG CLAT together. He was selected in the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. But considering his physical condition, he chose HNLU. Today we are proud of his success. Surely Priyesh’s success will inspire many. Those who leave the fight for the future in the middle after being defeated by many diseases.
